Prices year 2009 for two persons, per night, breakfast included, minimum booking of two nights are the following:

Low season 80 €

High season (Friday and Saturday, from June to September, Christmas period, Carnival) from 100 € to 150 €

Riva degli Schiavoni, more than 500 metres long, is a splendid promenade alongside St. Mark’s basin. Its name was derived from the Dalmatian sailors from Slav-land, who anchored their trading boats by this quay. It seems that in very ancient times, there was a strong wall along it for protection against pirates. But apparently this fondamenta (embankment) did not originally exist, so that the houses stood directly over the water.
