When in Venice, at your arrival at the Ca’ d’Oro waterbus stop, if you wish, we can come and meet you to take you to our house. The fare for the waterborne service is 5 € per hour; it may be useful to buy a ticket for 24 hours at 12 € or for 72 hours at 25 €.

Besides all kinds of craft, the bridges are, in Venice, the only means of communication between the two banks of a canal.
The city was built on 118 islets, divided by 150 canals , and linked by more than 400 bridges. The first bridges were simple wooden gangways, which were often moving, but already since XIV century, the Venetians started to build stone bridges.
